“My life experience has made me passionate about addressing mental health issues such as stress, anxiety and depression, both and in the workplace and the wider community, helping people to “Get Back in the Driving Seat of Their Brain. With the help of NeuChem® techniques and a greatly enhanced knowledge of neuroscience, I now understand why we behave in the way we do and what we can do to remedy those negative behaviours that can damage us and hold us back. My mission is now to share this knowledge and empower others.”

With over 20 years’ experience in coaching, Stuart has supported people across a range of industries including financial, education, and public sector. An approachable and supportive coach, Stuart’s style enables his clients to feel at ease, and empowered, with often instant improvements to how they feel.

Stuart won DTIO awards for supporting leaders through business development using digital technology and has been a thought leader, conference speaker especially for successive Governments in understanding the role of communication in building the business economy in the tech sector, he was on BBC TV, interviewed by Kate Bellingham of Tomorrows World, and delivered Westminster Briefings and conference speeches on his work especially in understanding the data of workplace wellbeing. He was among the first to be qualified as a NeuChem Coach (Diploma) and an early adopter of Mental health First Aid and from this has been active in developing programmes that fill the gaps in MHFA delivery in terms of skills and outcomes.

Industry experience.

Stuart's early career included working as adviser to the Board of Trusthouse Forte with regards to customer satisfaction and menu design; he went on to working at the Barbican Centre due to his interest in the Arts, driving up profits in the 3 restaurants, and providing liason with the performing artists to ensure they were adequately catered for. He was a senior investment portfolio manager for Abbey National/Santander and . He has advised the UAE government on introduction of workplace wellbeing measures into policy. Stuart ran an award winning Tech Publishing Company in 1990s. He has worked in the UK and globally, including Scandinavia and East Africa in a diverse range of sectors: law, pharmaceuticals, property, construction, facilities management, retail, food and drink, oil exploration, local and national government and charities.
